In January 2023 we performed a study to see how a well-styled beard can change the perception of the people around you. The main purpose was to see if tools like the Beard Forger and beard oils can increase men's attractiveness and perceived status.
The study was conducted over two weeks in the Swedish city of Gothenburg and used a panel of five women and two men. The participants consisted of 120 bearded men, with 60 of them styling their beards with the Beard Forger combined with the beard oil from our brand Odenson, and the remaining 60 leaving their beards unstyled.
The questions asked to the panel were the following:
- Rate the person's attractiveness on a scale of one to ten
- Would you be interested in going on a date with this person?
- How much money do you think this person makes a year?
The results of the study were very positive. 93% of the men who used the Beard Forger were rated at least one point higher on an attractiveness scale of one to ten, with the average rating being 7.4 up from an average of 6.3. Additionally, 88% of the women in the panel were more likely to go on a date with the men who had styled their beards, indicating that the straightened beards had a significant impact on their romantic appeal.
The study also found that the men with styled beards were perceived as being more successful in the workplace. 85% of the men with styled beards were rated as being more successful by the panel, with an increased perceived salary of 59%. This suggests that the use of the Beard Forger may have a positive impact on men's professional lives.

Overall, the study concludes that the use of the Beard Forger has a significant impact on the perceived attractiveness and status of men. Men who use the product can expect to be rated as more attractive, and successful. These findings suggest that the Beard Forger may be a valuable tool for men looking to improve their overall appearance and appeal.
